VVAA "THE INVISIBLE PYRAMID:
ELEGY BOX"
2005 - 6 CD compilation (Last Visible Dog)
LVD 080/086
"LVD's second compilation and spiritual successor
to Drunken Fish's Harmony of the Spheres box (EP length submissions),
but instead of 6 artists, there are now 31. The set features all
exclusive material, and the total running time clocks in around
7 hours and 36 minutes. This compilation, like the first Invisible
Pyramid comp (2003), finds its inspiration in the writings of Loren
Eiseley (naturalist, anthropologist, and essayist); for whom an
elegy to the first victims of the still-escalating wave of man-made
mass extinction seemed appropriate. Each artist has dedicated their
track to a recently extinct species (with a short bio), and Jeff
Knoch (Urdog) has written a substantial essay to accompany the set."
(LVD)
MCIAA play "Elegy for all the extinct alien species"

VV/AA - “Time and Relative
Dimensions in Space: Long Form Works”

in Space is the result. Featuring exclusive pieces from Italy’s
My Cat Is An Alien, Scotland’s Taurpis Tula, Chicago’s
Number None, and Bay Area acts Jim Haynes and The Skaters, Time
and Relative Dimensions in Space is a continuum-dilating collection
of drone works that will expand your experience of space-time. MCIAA

VV/AA - “The Tone of
the Universe (= The Tone of the Earth)”
2005 – 2xCD (Pseudoarcana)
This compilation (the debut CD
cds for PseudoArcana) arose out of an online discussion about the
news that astromoners have discovered a galaxy - far far away -
that is resonating in a steady B flat drone. Due to this drones
inaudibility (not only is it remote but it is also something like
50 octaves below an audible pitch...) it was decided that a compilation
of 'cover versions' was in order. That is not to however imply that
the tone b flat is neccesarily present in all of these trks...Featuring:
Blithe Sons, Peter Wright, Keijo, Eugene Carhesio & Leighton
Craig, CJA, Anla Courtis, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Hands of Satisfaction,
A.M/Uton, Neil Campbell, Birchville Cat Motel, The Skaters, seht,
Of, 1/3 Octave Band, The Nether Dawn, My Cat is an Alien. MCIAA
play the previously unreleased “Hear the Voice of the Cosmos”.
